Athelstone QAV
Athelstone QAV is a Landrover Defender based appliance. It carries around 400 litres of water. Athelstone QAV is fitted with additional radios, and can be used as a command vehicle, should it be required. This appliance is also fitted with a small crane, which enables it to be used as support for Water bombing operations. This appliance travels statewide to assist in support functions for Water bombing operations.
Athelstone 24P
Athelstone 24P is based on an Isuzu FTS750 crew Chassis, is 4 wheel drive, and carries 2000 litres of water. This appliances can be utilised in both rural and urban applications. This appliance carries four Breathing apparatus sets, a GPS, a chainsaw and Hazmat equipment - protective suits and clean up equipment for dealing with hazardous materials spills.
Athelstone 34P
Athelstone 34P is based on an Isuzu FTS750 Crew chassis, carries 3000 litres of water and is 4 wheel drive. It can be used in both rural and urban applications. It carries four breathing apparatus sets, Road Crash Rescue equipment, medical oxygen ad a Stokes Litter rescue stretcher.
Athelstone Tanker
Athelstone Tanker is a Hino based water tanker, which carries around 6500 litres of water. It also carries a floating collar dam. The Tanker is used in areas where there is no mains, or other water, and water needs to be brought from a water source some distacne way, to fire appliances working at a fire, or other incident. Athelstone Tanker is also fitted with a GPS unit.
