Changes to Emergency Phone Numbers
From August 2009, the local emergency phone number for CFS brigades across the state are being phased out.
For any emergency (including fallen trees on roads) the ONLY number to call is 000
If you dial the old Emergency number for your local brigade, you will get a recorded message, advising you to hang up and dial 000.
