New fire appliance arrives at Summertown
Summertown CFS took delivery of a new appliance in December 2009.
The brand new appliance, with the call sign of "Summertown 34P" is based on an Isuzu FTS800 Crew chassis (twin cab, and 4 wheel drive).
The appliance carries 3000 litres of water and four breathing apparatus sets, as well as the standard stowage, which enables the applianceto be used in both rural and urban applications.
The new appliance replaced the existing Summertown 34, which will be sent to another CFS brigade elsewhere in the state.
